What to expect: there will be structured discussion, break out groups and time for brainstorming, all to help determine an effective ongoing operating model for theatre within the Refinery space.

Dear Community,
We have had productive discussions with a community partner for the continuation of performing arts at the Refinery. We have scheduled a Round-Table discussion with theatre and user groups to brainstorm an effective operating model moving forward. We are excited and optimistic about the continuation of this important and significant aspect of life at the Refinery.
The Round-Table is planned for June 18th. Invitations have been sent, but if you did not receive an invitation and would like to participate, please let us know and we will be in touch to share the details. Contact Pastor Fran: pastor@emmanuelrefinery.org or (306) 653-5193.

Dear Community,
On May 4th, On the Boards Staging Company informed Emmanuel that they will discontinue
performance programming at the Refinery in August 2026. We have valued our partnership since 2011, and we regret their decision.
Performing arts remains an integral part of programming at the Refinery Arts & Spirit Centre, and we will consult the community on how to continue this programming.
We will share updates as information becomes available.
